Ancient Cosmos 3.5

That character you keep imagining deserves an adventure.

Maybe you already know their name. Maybe you have a build you’ve been wanting to try, a backstory waiting for its first scene, or a weakness that could get them into wonderful trouble.

Bring them to Ancient Cosmos, a Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 play-by-post Discord community with a West Marches structure and a custom fantasy world.

EXPLORE A WORLD WITH CHARACTER

Walk through Acadamia’s magical exchanges and archives. Visit Eleron, an elven tree city divided by civil war. Travel to Hebron, a mountain capital of powerful clans and arena culture. Discover Veyr, an island metropolis where constructs, electric lights, and airships share the setting with magic and shadowy streets.

Each place offers a different atmosphere. Which one would your character call home? Which would they rather escape?

CHOOSE WHAT DRAWS YOU IN

Follow your curiosity. Pursue an adventure. Meet other characters and discover whether they become allies, rivals, or friends.

If you enjoy searching for clues, exploring unfamiliar places, facing dangerous encounters, or deciding what your character does when the easy answer feels wrong, Ancient Cosmos offers a place to put those interests into play.

The West Marches structure gives you a shared setting to explore through different adventures. You can develop your character’s ambitions while finding reasons to venture out with others.

PLAY THROUGH WORDS

Play-by-post lets you experience D&D through written scenes on Discord. Describe your actions, speak in character, make your rolls, and respond as the adventure unfolds.

There is pleasure in both the large moments and the small ones: a risky decision, a conversation that changes a relationship, or a plan that survives contact with the dice.

For those who love D&D 3.5, its character-building depth is part of the appeal. Bring your interest in feats, skills, spells, and unusual combinations alongside your interest in who that character becomes.

HELP BRING ANCIENT COSMOS TO LIFE

We’re rebuilding activity and looking for players and GMs who want to participate in the community’s next chapter. This is a chance to get involved while the server grows, meet fellow adventurers, and contribute through play or running games.

Come look around, ask questions, and see where your character might fit.

Who will you bring into Ancient Cosmos?
