MinionPix takes control of Crete

After weeks of changing hands among other countries, a new faction has emerged victorious and managed to fully take control over Crete, kicking out powers like Italy and Greece

The island of Crete has always been an unestable piece of land, as it tends to change owners quite often during wars. Just this month alone it already had 3 partial changes, as it was originally owned by Hellenic Rennaisance, and then began getting taken over by Hellaspxl a weel ago, only to be invaded by Italy a few days later.

After Italy had taken control of most of the island, they recived a sudden attack from the faction Minionpix on the morning of the 9th, starting an expansion from the eastern part of the island. Italy and Minionpix began attacking each other for some time, and during those attacks Minionpix began gaining land slowly until they took nearly half of Crete, by which point the italians had lost most of their activity.

Over the course of the morning and midday of the 9th, Minionpix managed to take the rest of the island by expanding towards the west, defending some minor italian attacks and taking control over the island. Unlike any faction that had tried to take the island prior to them, Minionpix has also managed to clear the entire sea around the island, adding their own artworks and clearing out all leftover contents from the 3 factions that ruled the island prior to them.

Will Minionpix succeed on keeping control of the island, or will Italy try to reclaim it once again? Perhaps Greece will finally make their long awaited comeback and estabilize their lands once and for all? Only time will tell what the future has coming for Crete!
