Rivals has a big big problem. The cheating situation is nuts right now!
You'll be in a match and something just feels off, then you go back and watch the replay and sure enough, some guy is tracking everyone through walls like he's got a sixth sense. Aimbots are there too, though the obvious ones at least tend to get banned eventually

What's frustrating is how inconsistent the enforcement feels. Some players have reported submitting over 100 reports with solid evidence and only seeing two bans go through??
NetEase only noticeable action beyond lip service inspired no confidence at all. Back at the start of 2025, they accidentally banned thousands of players who weren't cheating at all. Steam Deck and Linux users got swept up because the anti-cheat flagged compatibility layers as cheats, handing out bans that were set to expire in 100 years. They reversed it and apologised, but it showed the cracks in the system pretty clearlyVideoGamerTotal Gaming Network
NetEase says tackling legitimate cheaters remains a priority and that they're investing in further anti-cheat protections, but for now the burden is mostly on players to report. That's not really good enough, it's lip service
In addition to the above, people buy accounts in one above all and other ranks and gate keep their ranks in a top 500 discord as mentioned by theyhatetray: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSxuTbJJN/
AND there's a community that take bounties out to throw peoples game
If you can play the game to have fun, amazing, I love this for you but fundamentally this game is broken in it's current state. Maybe it's set up for content creators to get clicks
If this game is to have any longevity the cheater situation will be dealt with, the question is, will we lose our base of core members before that happens?
If you enjoy the game we are looking for more members to be active in our community:
