Anon Servers

A Discord server with no member list and no names on messages. Say the thing you wouldn't sign your name to.

Most servers ask you to pick a nickname and an avatar and then call that privacy. This one never has an identity to hide in the first place.

There is no shared channel here. The moment you join, a private set of channels is built just for you, and nobody else can open them. When you type, your message is instantly rewritten as Anonymous and delivered to everyone else in your room, and your original disappears. What you see is one flowing conversation with dozens of people in it. What you never see is who any of them are.

Because nobody shares a channel, there is no member list to scroll, no profile to click, and no way to connect two messages to the same person. You cannot look someone up. You cannot check what they said last week. You cannot build a picture of who they are from the trail they left behind, because there isn't one.

That changes how people talk. There is no reputation to protect and nothing to live up to. Nobody is performing for an audience that will remember it tomorrow. People say the thing they actually think, ask the question they would be embarrassed to ask under their own name, and admit the thing they have not told anyone. Sometimes it's heavy. Often it's just people being honest about a boring Tuesday, which is rarer than it sounds.

You get your own generated avatar so a conversation is possible to follow, and it changes if you ever leave. Replies work normally and you get pinged when someone answers you, so it feels like a real conversation rather than shouting into a void.

What it isn't:

Anonymity is not a free pass. Hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats and spam are filtered automatically, and anyone trying to work out or expose who another member is gets removed. Being unnamed makes people honest. It does not make them exempt.

Messages are anonymous, not private. Write accordingly.

The practical bits:

Your Discord account needs to be at least a month old, which keeps out throwaways made five minutes ago. Rooms hold a set number of people so conversation stays fast, and when one fills, another opens. If you go two weeks without saying anything your spot goes to someone else, and you're always welcome back.

There is nothing to set up, no application to fill in and no roles to pick. You join, and a minute later you are in the middle of a conversation with people you will never be able to identify.
