History of Albania Pixmap (2026)

This is the story of the albanian state in pixmap.fun from Jan 1st 2026 to the current date (Feb 7 2026, 18:30 UTC).

During the first few days of the year, Albania was in complete shambles. The southern part had been taken over by Greece for a week, while in the north a very weak Albanian state apptempted its best to survive attacks from smaller factions scrambling to take control of some european lands. The situation was rather stable for a few days, but not in a good sense, as the albanians couldn't manage to fully control all the land on northen Albania.

On the 5th of january, the recently reformed Italian Empire began doing an invasion in Albania lasting 3 days, taking all the Albanian lands as well as the disputed areas on the northen part. This left Albania completly split in two, with the northen part being under italian control and the southern part being under greek control.

After a few unsuccessefull small rebelions from the albanians, a massive attack took place on the italian part of Albania bettwen the days 15 and 16 of January. As the italian forces got weakened, Albania managed to hold the ground for enough time for Italy to decide upon retreating completly from the area, granting the new albanian state full control of the northen part of the country by the morning of the 17th.

That same day, the goverment on the serbian state in the website suffered a partial collapse, with many members quitting pixels and the leader declaring the country would be staying inactive for the time being. Albania used this perfect opportunity to quickly invade Kosovo throught the 17th, while also taking a strip of land from the newly formed Montenegro, and they keept expanding by taking a few provinces on the southern area of the country during the 18th.

On the evening of the 18th Greece and Turkey went to war, which caused Greece to quickly begin losing all of Thrace to the turks. After seeing that the greeks were uncapable of holding off their empire for any longer, Albania took the chanze to began taking their southern lands back, as well as taking control of northen Eprius.
Following Greece's collapse on the 20th, Albania began expanding further in Greek lands, taking over all of Eprius as well as invading eastern Macedonia bettwen the 20th and 21st.

With the lack of any notable enemies and an alliance/union being formed bettwen Albania and Croatia, ALbania dedicated the last 2 weeks to cleaning their sea and adding their own artwork, as well as upgrading some of their land artwork. Although there were some minor attacks/rebelions, all of them were swiftly put down by the albanian army as their strenght was no match for the hegemonic balcan state.

Today Albania stands as a powerhouse in the balcans, having faced agaisnt threats that could not have been defeated without a great strenght and a bit of luck. With their only strong neighbours Croatia and Bulgaria being close allies, the future looks bright for the albanian state. However, the once weakned Italy has also formed many new allies, most notably becoming a member of NATO, a strong european pact who has become enemy of the Croats, which also holds control of a noticeable chunk of land in Serbia.

Will the Albanian empire reign supreme with their allies? Or will they fail to NATO and be partitioned once again? Perhaps Greece will perform a comeback to reclaim their old empire? Only time will tell what the future depares for this country!
