so like, most discord servers are so exhausting. u join and it's like "welcome to our server, please read the 47 rules, claim your roles, wait 3 days before u can post in general." nah. we don't do that here.

Aurahime is literally just a place where we exist. we're max boosted so the server looks clean and has all the perks, but that's not even the point. the point is it's chill. we don't have a rules channel. we don't have a rules bot. if u are a decent human being u are fine. that's the entire rule set.

we talk anime a lot. like, a lot. bleach, jujutsu kaisen, one piece, whatever's airing. we'll argue about who's the strongest character for hours and nobody's gonna tell u to stop. we game too, mostly fps and some rpg stuff, but it's not like a competitive community where u have to be good to be accepted. u can be bad at everything and it's still fine.

one thing we actually do is give everyone a custom role when they join. not some boring "member" tag. u pick a color or a name and u get it. it's a small thing but it makes the server feel like it's actually yours instead of some corporate setup.

the energy is just... lowkey. we shitpost, we stay up way too late, we send memes that make no sense, we have voice channels that are half empty but that's cool too. nobody's performing. nobody's trying to be the main character. u can be active or u can lurk for two weeks and come back and it's still fine.

if u are tired of servers that feel like u have to apply to be a person, just come here. no gatekeeping, no drama, no "this server is for serious fans only." it's just us, being normal, talking about stuff we like.
