Welcome to Limon Land 🍋

For as long as I can remember, Geometry Dash has been something I've wanted to be a part of. What started as a game I wanted to play as a kid slowly became something much bigger. Over the years, Geometry Dash became a hobby, a community, a place where I could challenge myself, meet people, create things, and constantly find something new to work toward. After being active for around six years, I've experienced a lot of what the game and its community have to offer. I've played levels, watched creators, followed players, worked on my own projects, met people, and spent countless hours doing something that I genuinely enjoy. But eventually, I started wanting something beyond simply being a member of someone else's community.

I wanted to create my own.

That idea is what eventually led to Limon Land.

Where It All Started

When I was younger, one of the things I always wanted to do was play Geometry Dash. There was something about the game that immediately stood out to me. It wasn't just another game where you played through a set of levels and eventually moved on. Geometry Dash had an entire world built around it. There were levels made by players, creators making increasingly complicated designs, people competing to beat difficult challenges, music that became recognizable throughout the community, and countless different ways to enjoy the game.

As a kid, I didn't necessarily understand how huge that community was going to become for me. I just knew that I wanted to play.

Eventually, I got the chance to actually become involved with Geometry Dash, and that was the beginning of a journey that has now lasted roughly six years. Six years is a pretty long time when you think about it. A game that I originally just wanted to play as a kid became something that stayed with me for years. My interests within the game changed, my skill changed, and the things I wanted to do changed too. There were times when I was focused on simply playing levels, times when I wanted to improve, times when I wanted to create, and times when I was more interested in the community itself. That's one of the things I appreciate most about Geometry Dash. There isn't really one single way to experience it. You can be a player. You can be a creator. You can be a verifier. You can participate in communities. You can work on projects. You can watch other people play.

You can challenge yourself with something that seems impossible and slowly turn it into something you can actually accomplish.

And after being involved for around six years, I've gotten to experience many different sides of that.

The longer I stayed involved, the more I realized that Geometry Dash wasn't just a game I happened to play. It had become one of the communities that I genuinely enjoyed being part of.

Six Years Later

Being active for around six years has given me a lot of memories. There have been frustrating moments, exciting moments, accomplishments, failures, and plenty of times where I probably spent way longer playing Geometry Dash than I intended to..... But all of those experiences are part of why I still enjoy it.

Over time, I became more interested in the people behind the game as well. Geometry Dash has always had an enormous community of players and creators, and every part of that community has its own personality. People make levels because they have an idea they want to bring to life. Players grind difficult levels because they want to prove something to themselves. Groups form projects because people want to create something together.

That community aspect is what eventually gave me another idea: If I've spent so many years being part of other communities, why not create one of my own?

I had wanted to do something like this for a long time, but wanting to create a community and actually creating one are two very different things. A Discord server might sound simple at first. You make a server, add some channels, create some roles, and invite people. But when you actually start building one, you realize there's a lot more to it.

You have to think about how people will enter the server, what they'll see first, how everything will be organized, what different roles are going to do, how moderation will work, what kind of activities people can participate in, and most importantly, what makes the server worth staying in.

I didn't want to make something that existed just because I could.

I wanted to make something that actually felt like a community.

The Dream of Having My Own Server

I've always wanted to create a Discord server under my own name.

That might sound like a small goal, but for me, it's something I've thought about for a long time.

There's something special about having a place that you built yourself. A place where the layout, roles, channels, rules, atmosphere, and community all come from ideas that you had.

That's what I wanted Limon Land to become.

Not just another random Discord server.

Not just a place where people join once and then disappear.

I wanted it to be a place where people could recognize the community, meet other people, talk about things they enjoy, participate in activities, and hopefully make some memories of their own.

The name itself is also part of that identity.

Limon Land isn't supposed to be some extremely serious or corporate-sounding community. It's supposed to feel like its own little world. A place that has personality and feels like it belongs to the people inside it.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about how I wanted everything to work. I've worked on channels, roles, permissions, moderation, applications, server organization, and all of the little details that most people joining the server will probably never notice.

And honestly?

That's okay.

A lot of the work that goes into creating a community happens behind the scenes.

People don't necessarily see the hours spent deciding where a channel belongs.

They don't see the time spent figuring out permissions.

They don't see the countless little decisions about how things should be organized.

They just see the finished server.

But for me, seeing that finished server is incredibly rewarding because I know how much went into getting there.

From an Idea to an Actual Community

One of the biggest reasons I'm excited about Limon Land is that this isn't just about having a server anymore.

It's about finally having the opportunity to grow a community.

For a long time, I've been involved in communities created by other people. I've joined servers, talked to people, participated in projects, and watched communities grow.

Now I get to experience the other side.

I get to build something and see what happens.

I get to invite people into something that started as an idea and eventually became real.

That's honestly one of the most exciting parts.

I have no idea exactly what Limon Land will look like months or years from now.

Maybe it'll grow much larger than I expect.

Maybe certain channels will become the most active parts of the server.

Maybe people will create their own inside jokes.

Maybe friendships will form.

Maybe there will be events, projects, competitions, conversations, and completely random moments that nobody could have predicted.

That's the fun of building a community.

You can create the foundation, but you can't completely predict what the people inside it are going to turn it into.

And I don't want to.

I want the community to have room to become its own thing.

Of course, I still have things I want to accomplish with it. I want Limon Land to be active. I want people to actually talk instead of joining and never saying anything. I want people to feel comfortable participating. I want there to be things to do instead of having a server full of empty channels.

But I also know that a community isn't something you can force into existence.

It grows because people want to be there.

That's why I'm so excited to finally open the doors.

Why Limon Land?

So why join Limon Land?

The simplest answer is that I want this to be a place where people can actually become part of something.

If you've been around Geometry Dash for a while, you already know how much the community can offer. There are players, creators, artists, musicians, builders, competitors, and people who are simply there because they enjoy the game.

Limon Land is my attempt to create a space where all of that energy can come together.

But you don't have to be some incredibly skilled player to belong here.

You don't have to have beaten an extreme demon.

You don't have to be a famous creator.

You don't need thousands of followers.

You don't need to be one of the best players in the game.

You just need to want to be part of the community.

That's something I think is important.

A community shouldn't only be built around the people who are already successful. It should also give newer people a chance to meet others, improve, share their interests, and become part of something.

Maybe someone joins Limon Land today and barely knows anyone.

Maybe six months from now, they're one of the people everyone recognizes.

Maybe someone joins because they saw a Geometry Dash advertisement and ends up making friends.

Maybe someone joins because they like the name.

Maybe someone joins just because they're curious.

There isn't one correct reason to become part of a community.

The Beginning of Something New

Opening Limon Land isn't the end of the project.

It's the beginning.

Everything I've done before the release has essentially been preparation. I've been building the foundation, organizing things, figuring out what I want the server to be, and making sure there's actually something for people to walk into.

But once people start joining, that's when the real community begins.

And that's something I'm genuinely excited about.

I'm excited to see the first conversations.

I'm excited to see people exploring the channels.

I'm excited to see people reacting to things.

I'm excited to see people meeting each other.

I'm excited to see the server slowly become more active.

I'm excited to see what people think of it.

And, honestly, I'm excited to see things that I didn't plan for.

Because if everything goes perfectly according to plan, that means I probably didn't leave enough room for the community itself to influence what Limon Land becomes.

The people who join will become part of its history.

The first members will always be the people who were there at the beginning.

The first conversations, the first events, the first jokes, the first milestones, and the first major moments will all become part of the story.

And that's pretty awesome to think about.

Six Years of Geometry Dash Led Here

When I look back, it's kind of crazy to think that this started with something as simple as wanting to play Geometry Dash as a kid.

I couldn't have known where it would eventually lead.

I couldn't have known that I'd stay active for around six years.

I couldn't have known that I'd become interested in the community, creating, projects, and everything surrounding the game.

And I definitely couldn't have known that one day I'd be sitting here preparing to open a Discord server of my own. But that's where I am now.

Six years of being involved with Geometry Dash have led to this point. Limon Land is the result of wanting to take that experience and turn it into something personal. Something I can build. Something other people can be part of. Something that can continue growing even after the initial release. And that's why this launch means so much to me. It's not just another Discord server going public. It's the realization of something I've wanted to do for a long time. Welcome to Limon Land 🍋

So, after all the planning, building, organizing, and waiting, there's only one thing left to say: I'm incredibly excited to finally open this community to everyone.

Whether you've been playing Geometry Dash for years or you're just getting started, whether you're here because you're interested in the game, because you want to meet new people, or simply because you want to see what this strange little lemon-themed world is about, you're welcome here.

Limon Land is going to grow over time. There will be changes. There will be new ideas. There will probably be things that don't work perfectly. There will probably be moments where I look back and realize I could have organized something better. And that's okay.

A real community isn't supposed to be frozen in place. It's supposed to grow. It's supposed to change. It's supposed to be shaped by the people who are part of it.

So this is more than just an invitation to join a Discord server. It's an invitation to be there at the beginning. To watch Limon Land grow. To meet the people who join along the way. To contribute your own personality to the community. And maybe, eventually, to look back and remember when the server was still small and everything was just getting started.

I've wanted to create something like this for a long time. Now I finally can. Six years of Geometry Dash brought me here. A long-time dream of creating my own community brought Limon Land to life. And now it's time for everyone else to help decide where it goes next.

Welcome to Limon Land. 🍋

The doors are open. Thanks.
