The Flashpoint Update dropped a new toy into ARC Raiders: the Canto — an 18-round SMG that chews through Medium Ammo, kicks like a mule, and absolutely shreds at close range. It's exactly the kind of weapon that makes Raiders immediately ask one question: where's the blueprint?
Here's the short version, followed by everything you need to actually pull it off.
The Short Answer
Run the Hurricane map condition and loot First Wave Raider Caches. That's the method.
What Are First Wave Raider Caches?
First Wave Raider Caches are special caches tied to Hurricane conditions, and they're your best shot at the Canto Blueprint.
They spawn scattered around the map — mostly along the perimeter — and they're easy to identify by sound. As you get close, you'll hear a distinct beeping noise, clearly different from the whirring/clicking of a standard Raider Cache. If you hear beeping, you're on the right track.
Where Do They Spawn?
The best tool for tracking possible spawn locations is Metaforge. Their interactive ARC Raiders maps let you filter for exactly what you're hunting.
To pin down the First Wave Cache spawn points:
Open the interactive map for whichever map you're dropping into
Click "Hide All" in the top left
Enable the "Hurricane Cache" filter
Every possible First Wave Raider Cache spawn point will now be marked on the map
Pro Tip: Don't Sweep the Whole Cluster
Cache spawns are typically picked from clusters of those marked locations — so if you find a cache at one spot, don't waste time checking the markers right next to it. The game usually won't drop a second cache in the same cluster. Skip ahead to the next cluster instead. Saves a ton of running around on a timer.
